The El Paso community is joining dozens of other cities across the nation in a candlelight vigil tonight in honor of those affected by the shootings in Florida.
El Paso Sun City Pride and the Mary E. Gonzalez Transitional Living Center plan the meet up tonight, Sunday June 12 at 9:30 p.m. at San Jacinto Plaza, 111 W Mills Ave in downtown El Paso. The event is free and open to the public. Candles will be available on a first come, first served basis. (Bring your own if you can.)
The El Paso Sun City Pride organization has also created a GoFundMe account for El Pasoans wanting to help the victims in the shooting. All funds raised from the El Paso account will be sent to the appropriate organizations in Orlando to make sure it helps these families.
